Israelis request 200,000 Euros from Karleusa

Serbian singer on trial over plagiary Israelis request 200,000 Euros from Karleusa

Authors of ‘Microphone’ and ‘Perfect Crime’ that the JK edited without their permission shall seek justice in court

The Israelis shall request from Jelena Karleusa a compensation of 200,000 Euros, the Blic learns.

The Greek company ‘Media men Group Music Publishing LTD’ that is representing authors of the originals of the ‘Microphone’ and ‘Perfect Crime’ claim that Jelena Karleusa has not got consent for using those hits. The company ‘Ricom Publishing’ is a licensed representative of the mentioned Greek company in Serbia and is protecting copyrights of original songs the ‘Alaiy’ and ‘Asayin Shelah’.

That is why they intend to file a lawsuit against her. We called Jelena Karleusa’s PR manager and he told us that the Israeli composers have given their songs to Karleusa.

We have a contract with all composers that Jelena cooperated with and they have been signed on the album as authors – the spokesman explains.

Lawsuits against Lukas, Ceca, Dragana…
