Plastic surgeon dr Antoan Dajoub for "Blic" I've done facelift and hair transplantation for Gadaffi

Professor dr Antoan Dajoub, respected plastic surgeon who came to live in Novi Sad in Serbia because of the ongoing war in Syria, was a member of the medical team who done facelift and hair transplantation procedure for Muamar Gadaffi.

Dajoub never talked about this procedure, performed in the 90s, until now. He was in the team of international doctors who performed the operation of colonel Gadaffi.

 

- Years were passing, and I didn't say anything about that. It was my duty as a doctor to keep that secret as long as colonel Gadaffi was alive - Dajoub said for "Blic".

The interesting thing is that there were no special preparations for this operation, and no security. Gadaffi was a favourite person in Lybia, everyone loved him, so no one was affraid that something could go wrong.

 

- He was an extremely respected man, and that hospital was opened for everyone. Because of that there was no need for some special security. Gadaffi wanted a facelift because of the wrinkels under his eyes. He was very pleased with the results. Two years later, he wanted a hair transplant, so we did it. There was no problem at all. He handled the procedure very well - explains dr Dajoub.

 

He said that Gadaffi spent only a few hours in hospital during the procedures, and that he recovered in his house.

 

- He had a small hospital in his house, prepared especially for that occasion - says Dajoub.

Doctors and his special security, contained of women only, took care of him. Those women were not only his bodyguards, but much more than that.
