Vucic: Serbia arrives at record foreign trade numbers in March

BELGRADE - Serbia is one of the very few countries that will have a growth rate of 4 percent next year, Serbia's Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday.
    
Vucic told a press conference at the Serbian government that Serbia would be among 2 or 3 European countries with such GDP growth, observing that everyone had been "shying away from the topic a bit, doubting a little that it is true, as it is a small miracle of sorts."
    
He added that the current year's growth would be 2.5 percent.
    
Vucic pointed out that Serbia's foreign trade in March had been EUR 2,716 billion, the first time the EUR 2.3 billion record, posted in a month of 2008, before the crisis, was exceeded, calling it "big and important news for our country."
