Biden, Medvedev to visit Serbia soon - report

BELGRADE - US Vice President Joseph Biden and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Serbia after its new government has been formed, most likely in August and September, respectively, Belgrade's Vecernje novosti daily reports.

Biden should arrive in Belgrade on August 18, with Medvedev's visit slated for early September, the daily reported.

Intelligence and technical preparations for the high-level visits have already begun, Novosti reported.

Biden is expected to discuss with Serbian officials the Serbia-US bilateral relations, economic cooperation and Washington's support for Serbia's European path, the daily said.

Prime Minister Vucic and President Tomislav Nikolic will discuss with Medvedev ways to further enhance the economic and political partnership between the two countries, the report said.
