FMs urge development of good Serbia-Turkey-BiH ties

NEW YORK - A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Serbia, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina was held Friday on the fringes of the general debate of the 71st UN General Assembly session in New York.

The ministers agreed that good relations needed to be developed among the three states and that they mutually supported their countries' European integration, particularly noting that strengthening the economic cooperation was a necessity, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The ministers also backed Turkey's proposal to work towards implementing projects in the infrastructure, transport, energy, agriculture and tourism sectors.

They agreed stability in the region was a key factor for its development.
