Kfor commander: Situation in Kosovo stable

BELGRADE - The situation in Kosovo is stable, Kfor Commander Giovanni Fungo said in the wake of a letter to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg from Albania and Croatia, in which they expressed concern over security in the province.

"Our KFOR mission remains fully committed to support a peaceful, stable, and multi-ethnic Kosovo, as mandated by the UN Security Council Resolution 1244. Together with EULEX and the Kosovo Police, we continue assisting the implementation of the agreements between Belgrade and Pristina," Fungo said in an interview with Tanjug and the European Western Balkans portal.
