Dodik: Secession not on agenda, Putin doesn't want it

Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik says that Russian President Vladimir Putin "did not ask him to secede from Bosnia-Herzegovina."

The secession of the Serb entity is "not on the agenda," Dodik added, but would not rule out the possibility of it happening one day.

"I sat with Putin and he did not ask that from me. It's a lie that Putin is asking for that, the official Russian position is the Dayton Bosnia-Herzegovina," Dodik told N1.

He also said that there was "no project in Bosnia-Herzegovina that the RS benefits from."

"We are in a prison, in a pen called Bosnia-Herzegovina," Dodik said.

He accused Bosniak (Muslim) member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina and SDA party leader Bakir Izetbegovic of "undermining institutions" with his extra-institutional decision to launch a failed revision of the ICJ ruling in...
