Croatia: High school students celebrate with "Za dom spremni"

The Croatian website Lupiga has published video footage of a group of final year high school students from Zagreb shouting "For home ready!" ("Za dom spremni").

This was a greeting used by the Ustasha regime of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) - a WW2 Nazi-allied entity that operated death camps for Serbs, Jews, and Roma.

According to the website, a group of about 50 students paraded in this way through the Croatian capital, celebrating the end of the school year.

The report added that several of them also raised their right hand in a Nazi salute, the kind used during WW2 to display loyalty to Adolf Hitler.
