Podgorica to host international energy summit on Nov 15-17

PODGORICA - The International Summit and Exhibition Hydropower Balkans 2017 will on Wednesday open in Podgorica, Montenegro, where executives of energy companies, representatives of ministries and financial institutions, service providers and equipment suppliers will until November 17 discuss construction and reconstruction of hydroelectric power plants in the region.

On the first day of the summit, participants will visit Albania's Ashta hydropower plant - the most advanced hydropower plant in the region - and learn about construction and design strategies, introduction of innovative technologies and best practices to ensure compliance with high European environmental standards, Vostock Capital, the event's organiser, has announced.
