Brnabic: We want to become a contributing EU member

BELGRADE - I am very proud Serbia is one of the candidate countries with the biggest chances of joining the EU, says Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, noting she is more interested in the country's reforms.

"We are not implementing them for the sake of the EU. If we do not implement them prior to accession, the EU will no longer be offering us many advantages. Many qualified experts would leave the country and, vice versa, the EU will no longer praise Serbia as an investment market. We want to become a member that can contribute," Brnabic said in an interview to the Swiss paper Blick.
