State Data Centre opens in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbia's first State Data Centre - which will be the home of the country's key IT and communications infrastructure - opened in Belgrade on Tuesday.

"This will make it possible to save millions for all taxpayers and all Serbian citizens because, practically, we will no longer have a state where every individual ministry, every agency and every administration has its own data centre in insecure conditions, and we will be able to do, pay and manage everything in a centralised way," PM Ana Brnabic said.
