Dacic urges Comoro Islands to reconsider decision on Kosovo

MORONI - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic on Friday urged the leadership of the Comoro Islands to reconsider a 2009 decision to recognise the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.

Dacic, who is visiting the Comoros, said the decision was contrary to the principles the island nation was fighting for in terms of its own territorial integrity and added that the friendly ties between Serbia and the Comoro Islands dated back to the era of the former Yugoslavia.
