Fifteen Children and Two Women were Killed in an Air Strike in Eastern Ghouta

Seventeen civilians - 15 children and two women - were killed and more than 50 people were injured in an air strike in the Syrian insurgency enclave near the capital, Damascus Eastern Ghouta, the France press and Reuters reported, referring to the Syrian Human Rights Watch.

The non-governmental monitoring organization reported that the bombing was carried out in the town of Arbino, south of Damascus, which is still under the control of the rebels. The murdered civilians had found shelter at school. Syrian government forces have taken over 80 percent of Eastern Ghouta since they launched a massive offensive on February 18 to take over the last rebel encampment in the Damascus area. Since then, over 1400 people have been killed in Eastern Ghouta, including nearly 300 children and 200 women. 

Meanwhile the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad uploaded a propaganda video of him driving a car to Eastern Ghouta and praising the soldiers he meets.
