Brnabic at Summit on Western Balkans in London

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will take part in the Western Balkans Summit in London on 10 July.

The summit in London will bring together the leaders of the Western Balkans and most European officials who will discuss economic cooperation with a focus on the region, the security and challenges of the migrant crisis, the future of the "Berlin Process" and the current political developments in the region.

The summit, hosted by British Prime Minister Theresa May, will also feature German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, President of the European Investment Bank Werner Hoyer, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti and other European officials.

After the closing of the Summit, a reception to be hosted by Charles, Prince of Wales will be held for all heads of delegations.

The first Summit on the Western Balkans within the "Berlin Process", initiated by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, was held in Berlin in 2014.

Last year's Summit was held in Trieste, while the next will be held in 2019 in Poland.
