Two Bulgarian Sumo Wrestlers will Progress in the Hierarchy

Sumo wrestler Daniel Ivanov-Aoiyama  finished the summer tournament for the Emperor's Cup with a positive balance and guaranteed a climb in the hierarchy of ancient Japanese sports. In the last 15th day of the Nagoya race, the Bulgarian 11th-levvel maegashira lost to the 3-rd level megashira Abi (6-9) and finished 8-7.

For the first time in his career, champion in the upper division "makuuchi" became secuke Mitakeumi (13-2). The 25-year-old is the best in the absence of all three active yakosuna - the injured Kakuriu, Hakuho and Kisensato, and triumphs with the cup on Saturday. On the last day yesterday, Metaceumi lost to the 9th MEGA Utahakama (12-3), which took second place in the final standings. The other Bulgarians in the professional league - Ventsislav Katsarov-Torakkyo - also made their rankings. The graduate of Kaloyan Mahlianov is third in the fourth division "sandanme" and will be promoted to third division "macaws".
