'The Wild Pear Tree' announced as Turkey's Oscar entry

Director Nuri Bilge Ceylan's latest film "Ahlat Ağacı" (The Wild Pear Tree) was announced on Aug. 17 as Turkey's Oscar entry for the 91st Academy Awards next year under the category of Best Foreign Film.
