Parliament concludes regular autumn session

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament on Wednesday concluded its regular autumn session by passing a series of bills.

It passed bills amending the law on the salary system for public sector employees as well as the laws on public media services and provisional regulation of the method of collecting subscription fees for the public media service.

Djuric: Departures from Kosovo institutions helping unity

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, on Wednesday welcomed a decision by a part of Srpska lista members of the Kosovo assembly to again leave Kosovo's institutions.

Speaking to reporters in Belgrade, Djuric added he expected those who had meanwhile assumed office contrary to the policy of the Serbian government to resign irrevocably.

Road between Bulgaria's Aytos, Karnobat Reopened, Then Closed Again

The road linking the towns of Aytos and Karnobat in Southern Bulgaria was briefly reopened to traffic and then closed.

The blockade was lifted for nearly an hours to enable part of the james vehicles to move through.

Tom’s son Chet Hanks, 26, was not with mom and daughter as they ran errands on December 13 close to Tiffany’s home in Indio, California.

Tsakalotos bombshell: We are in talks to extend “cutter”

Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos told newspaper “Kathimerini” that the government was negotiating with the institutions to extend the automatic fiscal contingency mechanism (known as the cutter) beyond 2018 in an effort to reach a compromise.

Brazilian police: Greek ambassador killed by wife's lover

Police in Brazil believe that Greece's ambassador to the country was killed by his wife's lover under her orders in a house in the Rio area and have detained three suspects, authorities said Friday.
