Erdoğan cancels two rallies due to throat problem
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's planned weekend rallies in the eastern provinces of Erzurum and Van have been postponed due to a throat problem.
The ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) Van provincial head, Zahir Soğanda, announced that Yıldırım will speak in Van on April 1 instead of Erdoğan.
Molester posing as police arrested
A 33-year-old man was arrested in Athens on Friday on charges he molested young girls while posing as a policeman.
According to the investigation, the suspect would follow his victims on his bicycle all the way to the entrance of their homes. He would then tell his victims that he was a police officer investigating a theft at their school in order to frisk them.
Cleaners demonstrate outside Parliament
Cleaning staff at Greek schools held a 24-hour-strike on Friday and demonstrated outside Parliament to protest against low wages.
According to the Federation of Private Employees of Greece (OIYE), cleaners work at schools on a contract basis and receive wages that do not correspond to the service provided.
