Turkey's main opposition visits daily Cumhuriyet journalists, executives in prison
A delegation from the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) on April 28 visited jailed daily Cumhuriyet journalists and executives in Istanbul's Silivri Prison.
CHP deputy leader Veli Ağbaba, Ankara lawmakers Necati Yılmaz and Şenal Sarıhan and Muğla deputy Nurettin Demir compiled a report with messages from the arrested journalists and executives after their visit.
Votes stolen by election board, not in ballot boxes: Main opposition leader
Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has accused Turkey's High Election Board (YSK) of "stealing" votes in the April 16 constitutional amendment referendum, saying his party protected people's votes at the ballot boxes but could not foresee "thieving" by the YSK.

Serbian delegation walks out of PACE session in protest
STRASBOURG - A Serbian parliamentary delegation on Thursday walked out of a Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) session in Strasbourg, France, in protest at a French court's decision to release Ramus Haradinaj, a former "Kosovo Liberation Army" commander charged by Serbia with war crimes.

Serbia failed to meet formal requirements - Colmar court
BELGRADE/COLMAR - The appeals court in Colmar, France, which on Thursday rejected a Serbian extradition request for Ramus Haradinaj, cited Belgrade's failure to meet procedural requirements as the reason behind the decision.
While noting that the Serbian request was not political, it said not all formal requirements had been met for it to be accepted.
