SNS official against granting Russians diplomatic status

Head of the Serbian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Sormaz says that "neither the US nor Russia should pressure Serbia."

According to the website centralmedia.rs, he spoke in the town of Jagodina, and stressed that "as the Russians say the United States should not pressure Serbia, so they should not do it."

Moldova Court Rules Official Language is Romanian

The Constitutional Court on Tuesday approved a draft bill signed by 35 MPs to amend the law so that the official language is classified as Romanian instead of Moldovan.

The draft was initiated two weeks ago by a small group of MPs from Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova and signed by other pro-European deputies in parliament.

Bulgaria Named EU's Largest Pumpkin Producer on Halloween

Statistical agency Eurostat said in a Halloween message on Monday that Bulgaria harvested over 132,000 tonnes of pumpkins and squash last year - the largest amount of any EU member state.
