Most Greek businesses ignore generative artificial intelligence
While the new generation of artificial intelligence, the so-called generative AI (GenAI), is bringing tectonic changes to all sectors of the economy, having the potential to increase the Greek GDP by an additional 5.5% by 2030, most Greek businesses have no plans of utilizing it in the foreseeable future.
Investment in human resources ‘a challenge’
Labor Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Wednesday said that investment in the country's human resources was a challenge for the long-term development of the Greek economy, during a discussion with Vassilis Kafatos, growth leader and Competence Center president at Deloitte and vice president of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, in the context of the 34th Greek Economic Summit.

Turkey's e-commerce volume grew 39% in 2019 compared to the previous year, an industrial report revealed on April 29.
The e-commerce market size hit 83.1 billion liras ($14.6 billion) last year, according to a joint report by Turkey's Informatics Industry Association (TUBISAD), Deloitte Turkey, SimilarWeb and Inveon.
