Gov't drops case against sell-off officials
Greece dropped charges of breach of duty against three former privatization officials on Thursday, court sources said, paving the way for the disbursement of new bailout loans.
The three officials from Spain, Italy and Slovakia had faced charges stemming from the sale of state properties in 2015.

PM urges investors to come to Greece
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras urged foreign investors on Thursday to come to Greece "now and and not in the future."
Addressing the Economist conference at the seaside resort of Lagonisi in southern Athens, Tsipras said "investors must take advantage of the opportunities (the country has to offer)."
"They must invest and support our big effort," he said.

Greece’s short-term objective is to return to bond markets and this will be possible even without the inclusion of its bonds in the European Central Bank’s asset-buying programme, Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said on Thursday.
Student found hung in stairway
Cleaning staff at the Technological Educational Institute of Messolongi, western Greece, found the body of a 23-year-old student hanging in a stairway in the building housing the college's accounting department Thursday morning.
According to reports, the man was from Athens and his body was taken to Messolongi hospital.

Prosecutor rejects move to prosecute privatization agency technocrats
A Supreme Court prosecutor Thursday revoked a ruling by the Council of Supreme Court Judges ordering six members of the country's privatization agency TAIPED to face trial in connection with a sale-and-leaseback deal for 28 state-owned buildings in 2013 and 2014.
