Greece to submit request for subsidy from the Recovery Fund in May
Greece plans to submit its request for subsidies from the Recovery Fund to the European Commission in May, announced Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis on Thursday.
He indicated that the country anticipates submitting its fifth request for loans and subsidies by the end of September or early October, aiming to bolster entrepreneurship.

Weather service warns of rainstorms in next two days

Woman attempts suicide after attack from husband
A 36-year-old woman in the town of Aigio, western Greece, tried to commit suicide by taking an unknown number of pills after she was attacked by her husband.
The 39-year-old husband was arrested and is facing charges of domestic violence.
Police was alerted to the suicide attempt by the local hospital where she was transferred for treatment.
