The expenditures for hospital care are consistently going up over the decision of the previous cabinet to use the National Health Insurance Fund (NZOK) to finance hospitals, Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov, says.
The Minister spoke Thursday in the Parliament where he appeared to answer questions from the Members of the General Assembly.
According to Djankov, the health care system needs more and more money and this is the failure of the executive and legislative power during previous government terms.

There are no Bulgarian nationals aboard the German cargo ship, sailing under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda, which was hijacked by Somali pirates on Wednesday, the foreign ministry announced.
Meanwhile the German container ship Magellan Star was freed on Thursday after a standoff between Somali pirates and international naval forces.
No further details on how the release of the vessel was secured were immediately available.

Amidst its controversial campaign to deport Roma squatters back to Bulgaria and Romania, France is going to ask the latter to come up with an emergency integration plan for the Roma minority.
