Irenaeus: Unthinkable for Patriarchate of Pec to be in foreign country
BELGRADE - To me, it is unthinkable for the Patriarchate of Pec - the historic Kosovo residence of Serbian patriarchs - to be in a foreign country, says Patriarch Irenaeus of the Serbian Orthodox Church, noting he had said this to foreign ambassadors.

Greek parliament speaker Voutsis to visit Belgrade
BELGRADE - The Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikos Voutsis, will be on an official visit to Belgrade on December 18-20, the Greek embassy in Serbia announced in a statement.
On December 20, Voutsis will address Serbian MPs at a special session of the parliament, and meet with Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic.

Minister believes Croatia has no reservations about culture
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Vladan Vukosavljevic said Wednesday he was not aware of any Croatian reservations about culture in terms of Chapter 26 (education, culture and sport) in Serbia's EU accession talks.
"As far as we know, Croatia has no reservations about culture," Vukosavljevic told a press conference at the Ministry of Culture and Information.

Patriarch Irenaeus, Archbishop Welby meet
LONDON - Patriarch Irenaeus of the Serbian Orthodox Church has concluded a several-day visit to London that marked the 100th anniversary of the first Orthodox religious service at St Paul's Cathedral.
The patriarch held a meeting with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, urging closer ties among Christian churches.
