Usyk stops Dubois to retain world heavyweight titles

Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine retained his world heavyweight titles with a ninth-round knockout of Britain's Daniel Dubois in Wroclaw, Poland on Aug. 26.

Victory meant Usyk kept hold of the World Boxing Association, World Boxing Organization and International Boxing Federation belts.

It also extended his perfect professional record to 21 wins from 21 bouts.

Joshua Overpowers Povetkin to Retain World Heavyweight Titles

AFP - Britain's Anthony Joshua retained his world heavyweight titles by inflicting the first stoppage defeat of Alexander Povetkin's professional career with a ruthless seventh-round finish at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

A previously close contest turned in Joshua's favour decisively when he sent the Russian crashing to the canvas with a straight right hand and left hook.

Kubrat Pulev Beats American Rival, Eyes World Title

Kubrat Pulev defended his intercontinental heavyweight title of the World Boxing Association after his victory over American Kevin Johnson, reports BGNES, quoted by BNR.

In the main match of the Final Countdown Gala at Arena Armeec, Sofia, late on Friday, Pulev prevailed over his rival Johnson with full unanimity of referees.
