Brnabic: Now right time to request urgent UNSC session

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday President Aleksandar Vucic had been right in saying Serbia should not rush with a request for an urgent UNSC session over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, and added that now was the right time to make that move.

"Vucic was right because you cannot request a UNSC session time and time again," Brnabic told Pink TV.

Brnabic: EP resolution to continue pressure on Serbia, unrelated to elections

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday a soon-to-be-adopted European Parliament resolution on the recent Serbian elections had nothing to do with the polls themselves but would be a form of additional pressure on Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic and the Serbian Progressive Party, which will have the majority in the new Serbian parliament and the next government.

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday no calls had been made in recent European Parliament (EP) and Council of Europe (CoE) debates for an international inquiry into the December 17 Serbian elections and that any such calls were not the dominant stance in the two bodies.

Brnabic, US ambassador visit Pupin memorial complex in Idvor

IDVOR - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic and US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill on Friday visited the Mihajlo Pupin Memorial Complex in Idvor, northeastern Serbia.

The complex is comprised of Pupin's birth house, former primary school and his endowment - the People's Home.

This year marks the 170th anniversary of his birth.

Vucic: Renovation of Lozionica complex to be finished by end-year

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday works on the renovation of the Lozionica (Boiler Room) multifunctional creative and innovation centre in Belgrade would be completed by the end of the year.

"We will finish everything by the end of the year, including the water tower," Vucic said during a tour of the Lozionica complex.

Trovoada: Great potential for cooperation with Serbia

BELGRADE - Sao Tome and Principe PM Patrice Emery Trovoada said on Wednesday in Belgrade there was great potential for cooperation with Serbia in several areas and that the two countries had shared goals.

After a meeting with Serbian PM Ana Brnabic, Trovoada said he hoped his meetings in the Serbian capital would "translate into projects."
