French film titan Trintignant, of ‘A Man and a Woman,’ dies
French film legend and amateur race car driver Jean-Louis Trintignant, who earned acclaim for his starring role in the Oscar-winning film "A Man and a Woman" half a century ago and went on to portray the brutality of aging in his later years, has died. He was 91.
In Memoriam: Fashion World Bids Farewell to Pierre Cardin
Legendary French fashion designer Pierre Cardin has died at the age of 98.
Cardin was credited with helping revolutionize fashion with his futuristic designs in the 1960s and 70s.
He was also a pioneer in business, licensing his name to be used on a range of products such as sunglasses.
He died in hospital in Neuilly, near Paris, his family told the AFP news agency.
Zozo Toledo, Turkey’s first paparazzo, dies of COVID-19
Zozo Toledo, 83, known as Turkey's first paparazzo and who has worked for Hürriyet daily for many years, has died in an Istanbul hospital where he was being treated for COVID-19.
The 83-year-old journalist, who was buried in the Hasköy Jewish Cemetery, photographed many famous names and Hollywood stars, including Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot and Sean Connery.
Ara Güler exhibition opens in Rome
The "Ara Güler Photography Exhibition," which shows photos by Turkey's world-famous photography artist, the late Ara Güler, to the world, opened on Jan. 29 in the Italian capital Rome.
After London, Paris, Kyoto and New York, Rome is the fifth city where the exhibition is on show at the Trastevere Museum.

A ripple of excitement swept through the calm as Brigitte Bardot stepped onto the beach wearing a tiny bikini, high-heeled sandals and an enormous sun hat.
Statesman Constantine Karamanlis had a favorite cabana and in the evenings would order a whisky followed by a meal of one boiled egg, a plate of steamed zucchini and grilled fish.
