Reds and Greens blow their lead to lose on the road

Both Panathinaikos and Olympiakos suffered defeats on the road on Thursday for the Euroleague, probably not doing themselves any justice for their efforts in Belgrade and Monaco respectively.

The Greens went down 92-87 at Partizan in overtime, after wasting a 10-point led in the last few minutes of regulation.

Željko's "magic" turned the derby around VIDEO

Partizan defeated Red Star in a turbulent Euroleague derby in a dramatic final 88:86.
The black and whites dropped +15 in the first half, and then trailed by 11 points about five minutes before the end of the match.
It was then that Obradovi performed his "magic" and turned the situation around with a move he had not made in the current season.

Real Madrid draw level with Partizan in EuroLeague quarter-final series

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade suffered an 85-78 (27-15, 18-27, 16-13, 24-23) home defeat to Real Madrid in the fourth game of the two teams' EuroLeague Basketball quarter-final series on Thursday evening.

The series is now tied at 2-2.

Before the game, tributes were paid to the victims of Wednesday's shooting in a primary school in downtown Belgrade.

Bora Stankovic passed away

Stankovic is one of the founders of BC Red Star, a Yugoslav national team player and the man who scored the first basketball points in the World Cup history.
Stankovic played for Red Star, Zeleznicar and Partizan during his playing career from 1946 to 1953, while he also served as coach in the BC Partizan.
