"No early presidential elections in 2016" - daily

Presidential elections will not be held in Serbia in 2016, a Belgrade-based daily said it learned from the government.

According to a source quoted by Danas, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic "has no plans" to initiate early presidential elections, "or to attempt to reach such an agreement with President Tomislav Nikolic."

Socialists' request for meeting "unrelated to elections"

MP Branko Ruzic says his party, the Socialists (SPS), wants to define "future landmarks of cooperation with the SNS."

According to him that is the reason why the party leader and Serbia's foreign minister, Ivica Dacic, requested an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, who is the president of the SNS.
