Bulgaria's E-commerce Set to Contribute 2.11% of GDP in 2023
On a briefing held at the National Press Club of BTA, Nikola Ilchev, the creator and organizer of the Balkan eCommerce Summit, showed projections indicating a significant rise in Bulgaria's e-commerce sector. Citing data from three studies, Ilchev disclosed that e-commerce is anticipated to account for 2.11% of Bulgaria's GDP in 2023, up from 1.92% in 2022.

Tourist Died in Stara Planina, Two Others were Rescued
Two lost tourists were rescued as a result of the quick reaction of employees from the Kazanlak District Administration and a team of the Mountain Rescue Service.
According to initial data, the missing were a man and two women, but one of them has died. They were transported to the village of Tazha.

Bulgarian police caught a bus with illegal migrants in Stara Zagora region. 11 migrants were found in the vehicle with a Varna registration. The bus was traveling on the Sub-Balkan road Burgas-Sofia.
Bulgaria: 13 Migrants were Detained near Karlovo
13 migrants, Iraqi citizens, of whom two women and two children, were detained in the early hours of the day on the Sub-Balkan road Sofia - Burgas, near the village of Anevo. They traveled in a truck equipped with a specially adapted cache.

Bulgaria: The Snow caused Problems in Mountain Passes, Yellow Code for Heavy Rain in 11 Regions
The heavy snowfall created problems in the passes in the Middle Stara Planina and the Rhodope mountains.
Restrictions on the movement of trucks have been imposed through the Troyan - Karnare, Rozhen, Prevala and Pechinsko passes in Smolyan region.
