Turkey's economy expanded 1.8 percent year-on-year in 2020 amid economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, according to the country's statistical authority on March 1.
The country's gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices stood at5.1 trillion Turkish liras (some $717.1 billion) last year, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

Turkey posts 6.7% y-o-y economic growth in Q3
The Turkish economy registered growth of 6.7% in 2020's third quarter despite the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to data the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) released on Nov. 30.
The country's gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices stood at 1.4 trillion Turkish liras ($197.4 billion) in July-September, TÜİK said.
