Fighting between rival Iraqi forces raged for a second day on Aug. 30 with rocket fire echoing from Baghdad's Green Zone where 23 supporters of powerful Shiite leader Moqtada Sadr have been shot dead, medics said.

Turkey and Iraq have agreed to establish a water resources center in Baghdad to study and address water issues in the region.       

Police identified a seventh suspect involved in an armed attack last week that killed a Turkish diplomat in northern Iraq, according to an announcement by the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) late on July 27.
