Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua are ready for their heavyweight title fight on Saturday night.

 The British boxer Joshua will be in action for the first time since he outpointed Andy Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia to regain the WBA, WBO and IBF belts he lost to the same opponent at Madison Square Garden in June 2019.

The long-awaited heavyweight boxing match between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua won't take place on June 20.

The news was announced by Pulev himself. According to him, the match will be delayed by at least a few months because of the situation with COVID-19 around the world.

The long-awaited official confirmation of the match between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev is already a fact. This was announced by Pulev on its official Facebook profile.

"The contract is already officially signed," the 38-year-old former European amateur super-heavyweight champion wrote on his Facebook page. "I am happy to be able to show the world how strong I am.", said Pulev.

The fight between Kubrat Pulev and Anthony Joshua is already a fact. Pulev will fight against the British heavyweight champion of the International Boxing Federation in May in Istanbul.

The fight will be at the Turkish Besiktas Arena. The date will be announced later. 

Pulev will have the chance to become a world champion for the third time in six years.

Kubrat Pulev could face Anthony Joshua in a World Heavyweight World Cup (IBF) match, the Bulgarian  said. Pulev is the official contender for one of the British belts after winning over Hughie Fury and is waiting for his turn, reports Dnevnik. 

Hughie Fury was seeking a career-best display against Kubrat Pulev in Sofia on Saturday night, but instead the young British heavyweight was dominated by the 37-year-old former world title challenger, reports The Telegraph.

This was Pulev's third attempt at securing an opponent for the heavyweight eliminator, as both Dillian Whyte and Jarrell Miller declined after their respective purse bids.
