Dacic meets IMF delegation on Wednesday

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will meet a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday, the government office for relations with the media has stated.

The talks with the IMF mission started in Belgrade on February 26and were limited to technical experts, while the official talks began with a meeting at the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) on March 3, where the Serbian delegation was headed by NBS Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and Minister of Finance Lazar Krstic.

Krstic said at the meeting there could be new negotiations about a three-year arrangement that will be conducted by the next government. Until then, the outgoing government will prepare everything for the next government to make a decision and implement the new agreement with the IMF, he noted.

The IMF delegation is led by Zuzana Murgasova and will stay in Serbia until March 13.
