AmCham launches educational project for young leaders

BELGRADE - The American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) launched an educational project for young business managers and exceptional students in the country, which it titled "AmChamps - Young Leaders in Change", on Thursday.

AmCham Director Maja Piscevic told Tanjug that the program has an important reform component to it.

Ever since its founding, AmCham has been dealing with reform of Serbia's economic legislation and business environment, and it has realized that educational reform is the most important, Piscevic said at a conference in Belgrade that marked the start of the project.

The project is organized as a competition for young leaders working with companies that are AmCham members and for the best students at Belgrade University.

"We selected 20 individuals for each group to be divided into mentoring couples who will be going through a system of workshops and lectures and be visiting companies together for the whole year," said Piscevic.
