Fiat wins award for most environmentally friendly motor

KRAGUJEVAC - Fiat has won the Ecobest 2013 award, given out by the international organization Autobest, for the most environmentally friendly engine, that is its methane programme, Fiat Automobili Srbija has stated.

According to Autobest, Fiat's methane programme is the simplest and most cost effective solution with the least impact on the environment out of all currently available fuels, the statement says.

The new engine is already available in Fiat Pand and Fiat 500L, the statement says.

The Ecobest award marks one of the 12 categories of awards for best engines in 2013, which were presented in Warsaw on February 14.
