Macedonian foreign minister in Belgrade on Friday

BELGRADE - Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki will pay a visit to Belgrade on Friday during which he will confer with Serbia's top officials.

Poposki will meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Ivica Dacic, outgoing prime minister, and Ivan Mrkic, outgoing minister of foreign affairs.

Minister Mrkic will host his Macedonian colleague, and the main topics of the talks will be major issues of importance for both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released in a statement.

The main topics will comprise: strengthening of the political dialogue, further development of the bilateral cooperation, EU integration process, promotion of economic cooperation, further developing of the contractual and legal basis, the statement reads.

The two foreign ministers will also ink an agreement on recognition of qualifications.
