12 Serbian companies at Moscow expo

BELGRADE - Twelve Serbian companies will present their products at PRODEXPO-2014, a large international exhibition of food products, in Moscow February 10-14, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) has said.

In its efforts to improve the economic cooperation with Russia and the structure of trade with that country, the PKS, sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, organized a presentation of production programmes focusing on frozen fruit and vegetables, cheese, confectionery, baking products, spices, Serbian national beverages and fish.

Companies from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries showed interest in Serbian producats on the first day of the expo.

Serbia's export of food products to the Russian market went up by 15 percent in 2013, reaching USD 185 million.

PRODEXPO is the most influential international trade fair of food products and companies that want to sell their products in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The event will include more than 1,400 exhibitors from 63 countries, with the venue covering over 100,000 square metres of exhibition space, the statement says.

The PKS organized the presentation of 12 Serbian food companies in Moscow.
