Soprano Tijana Djuric takes part in Music Soul of Europa

BELGRADE - Young Serbian opera singer Tijana Djuricic will take part in the music and stage performance entitled Music Soul of Europa, which will be held at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa on Friday and include musicians from Italy, Poland and Russia.

Music Soul of Europa was directed by Andrea Nicolini and Rossanda Nadeo. The performers are: Djuricic, pianist Aisa Ljiri, Duo Novecento (Fabrizio Giudacce on the guitar and Gianluca Nicolini on the flute), violinist Mercendes Borgunska and pianist Irina Kravasiva.

The work is part of the EU play project and will be performed in Oxford and Brussels as well.

The Italian government, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, city of Genoa and the region of Liguria have supported the event.

Djuricic is a soprano and she graduated under distinguished opera singer Radmila Bakocevic.

Djuricic has appeared in many concerts, 50 solo and 100 joint concerts in Serbia, the region, Italy, Frnace, Germany and Japan. She authored Schumman and His Doubles, Eternal Puccini, Modern Music of Serbia and Japan and Theatre at a Construction Site.

Besides this, she has worked to promote Serbia's modern music by performing the works of young authors in Tokyo and Nagoya last year.
