Tijana Bogdanovic wins gold at taekwondo junior WC

BELGRADE - Serbia's Tijana Bogdanovic won on Sunday the gold medal at the taekwondo junior world championship in Chinese Taipei, beating Spain's Lidia Garcia 9-5.

This was Serbia's first gold medal in junior competition and second gold on the international stage, since Bogdanovic won the European championship last year.

This medal is a great incentive for future tournaments, she said.

She will become a senior next year and dreams of appaering at the Olympics in Rio in 2016.

Minister of Sport Vanja Udovicic congratulated Bogdanovic on the gold medal.
