Partizan, Radnicki through to Champions League Final Six

BELGRADE - Belgrade's Partizan advanced to the final stage of the European Water Polo Champions League tournament after a Preliminary Rounds Day 8 home win against Romania’s Oradea 9-7 (5-1, 2-1, 1-4, 1-1) late on Wednesday.

Clinching its fifth victory in Group B, Partizan is now tight in third place and has secured its spot in the Final Six.

Another Serbian representative, Radnicki from Kragujevac, also reached the final stage of the tournament, after another Group B Day 8 home win, against Spandau 04 Berlin 16-10 (4-3, 4-1, 3-4, 5-2).

Cemented first in the group with eighth consecutive victories and no losses, the team from Kragujevac secured a direct placement in the semifinals.

The Final Six stage of the LEN Champions League will be held in Barcelona on May 29-31.
