Borovcanin calls for jobs for young Serbs in KiM

PRILUZJE - The survival of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) depends on the resolution of security issues, but also on the employment opportunities for young people, said Nenad Borovcanin, State Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Friday, addressing the young residents of Priluzje, a Serb-majority village in the municipality of Vucitrn, northeastern KiM.

The government of Serbia will support the survival of Serbs in the southern province, and the most important task at this moment is to create new jobs and make sure that the young people in KiM have the right to work and earn for a living.

Borovcanin made a promise to inform the government of Serbia about the problems pointed out to him by the youth of Priluzje and to advocate for the creation of new jobs for young people in this community as part of the economic assistance provided by Belgrade, the Ministry of Youth and Sports stated in a release.
