Dikovic in Czech Republic on military cooperation

BELGRADE - A delegation of the Serbian Armed Forces, headed by Chief-of-staff General Ljubisa Dikovic, conferred with their colleagues in the Czech Republic on the bilateral military cooperation.

Dikovic and Czech Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Petr Pavel discussed on Wednesday the bilateral military cooperation with a focus on intensifying the cooperation between the two armies in the fields of training and education, the Serbian Armed Forces wrote on its website.

The two generals talked about fostering cooperation in the fields of logistics and development of the ABHO defence capabilities.

The talks also touched on preparations for participation in multinational operations and the EU Battlegroup, the Serbian Military said.

Dikovic also met with Czech Defence Minister Martin Stropnicky, and he is scheduled to visit Malesice, state enterprise providing repair services for military aircrafts, and a memorial and Serb military cemetery in Jindrichovice.
