Udovicic discusses privatisation with Romanian counterpart

BUCHAREST - Serbia's Minister of Youth and Sport Vanja Udovicic met with Romanian Minister of Education, Research, Innovation, Youth and Sport Gabriela Szabo in Bucharest on Wednesday.

Udovicic and Szabo discussed the Romanian model of privatisation in sport.

The new Serbian government will bring new, better times for sport in Serbia, Udovicic said after the meeting, adding that a full depoliticisation of clubs, privatisation, as well as strengthening school, university and recreational sport, are the key development directions.

"No one is allowed to waste the taxpayers' money, it must be known where every dinar goes and why. A full depoliticisation of sport and a departure of politicians from the clubs is the first step," Udovicic also said.
