BELGRADE -- Snow, said to be of moderate intensity, is falling this Tuesday on Mt. Zlatibor, while weak snowfall was reported in Sjenica, and on Mt. Kopaonik.

Serbia's meteorological authority, RHMZ, said on its website that the weather will be cloudy and chilly throughout Serbia today.

There will also be occasional rain, and more snow in the mountains. The clouds are expected to clear first in northern parts of Serbia.

Belgrade will have a cloudy day, with the temperature reaching 12 degrees Celsius.

Negotin in the east was the warmest this morning with 10 degrees, while Kopaonik reported one degree below zero.

Drivers are warned of rain in lower parts of the country, and snow and landslides in the mountains. Landslides are particularly a concern along the Đerdap and Ibar highways, and in the Ovčar-Kablar, Grdelica, and Sićevo gorges.
