Nikolic, Vucic to hold consultations on forming of gov't

BELGRADE - Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic will on Tuesday hold consultations with representatives of the electoral list Aleksandar Vucic - A Future We Believe In on the forming of the Serbian government and is expected to name Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Aleksandar Vucic as prime minister-designate.

The electoral list, which has 158 out of 250 seats in parliament, consists of the SNS, the Social Democratic Party of Serbia, New Serbia. the Serbian Renewal Movement and the Movement of Socialists.

On April 17, Nikolic held consultations with representatives of the coalition around the Socialist Party of Serbia, as well as with the Democratic Party, representatives of the electoral list led by the New Democratic Party, the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians, the Sandzak Party of Democratic Action and the Party for Democratic Action.

At the April 15 SNS Main Board session, Vucic said that he will present the complete make-up of the government at the Main Board session scheduled for April 25 and that the government should be formed on April 27.
