Names of SNS govt members released

NOVI SAD - Vice President of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Nebojsa Stefanovic stated on Friday that the new government coalition would have 19 members, including two ministers without portfolio.

Following the session of the SNS Main Board, Stefanovic presented to reporters the names of SNS candidates for ministerial positions, and added that seven ministers would come from SNS lines, including the prime minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic, not counting the non-party individuals nominated by the SNS.

For the position of the finance minister, SNS nominated Lazar Krstic, an economic expert who held the office in the outgoing government. Economic expert Dusan Vujovic has been proposed for the office of the minister of economy, while member of the SNS presidency and energy minister in the outgoing government Zorana Mihajlovic has been nominated for the position of the deputy prime minister and minister of construction, transport and infrastructure. Member of the SNS presidency Nikola Selakovic was proposed for the position of the minister of justice and he also held the office in the outgoing government. Economic expert Kori Udovicki was nominated for the minister of public administration and local self-government, while SNS Vice President Bratislav Gasic was proposed for the position of the defence minister. Director of the Belgrade Emergency Centre, surgeon Zlatibor Loncar was nominated for the position of the minister of healthcare and SNS Vice President Nebojsa Stefanovic was proposed for the office of the minister of interior.

SNS nominated party's presidency member Jadranka Joksimovic for the office of the minister without portfolio in charge of European integration.
