Greek police arrest yet another ‘Pink Panther’ gang member Police in Athens arrest a Serb national after jewelry robbery

A 26-year old Serb attempted escape by hitting a policeman but was handcuffed in the end.

The Greek police believe that he and other earlier arrested Serb nationals have committed more than 30 breaks-in and robberies of jewelry shops in Athens stealing jewels worth over 550,000 Euros. It is also believed that they have stolen a car they were using to escape after robberies.

 

The last arrested man tried to escape police pursuit, but was handcuffed in the end.

 

- The arrested man had with him a faked Bulgarian ID, forged driving license, a gun and a phantom hood – the Greek police announced.

 

In June last year Nedeljko Josipovic and Goran Mladenovic believed to be members of the ‘Pink Panther’ gang were arrested. The identity of the fourth arrested individual has not been announced yet.
