Serbian PM satisfied with visit to Sarajevo

SARAJEVO -- Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has said he was very pleased about the results of his visit to Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, on Tuesday.

He stressed that the talks saw "far fewer political statements than some earlier meetings and dealt more with concrete topics."

Vučić told Tanjug that he expects trade between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina to continue growing, and that the citizens of both countries will derive benefit from that.

The Serbian prime minister said that he also met with businessmpeople and representatives of religious communities during his visit.

It is positive that cooperation and trade between Serbia and Bosnia is steadily growing, Vučić said, adding that he expects Serbia to become Bosnia's top economic partner, and Bosnia Serbia's fourth, right after Germany, the Russian Federation and Italy, as early as next year.

Today, Vučić said, you cannot find any newsletter in Serbia that speaks in bad terms about Bosniak politicians or Bosnia in general, as such times in Serbia are now gone.

He used the opportunity to thank all the people in Bosnia who understood that the future of Bosnia lies in cooperation with its neighbors.

“I am happy that we have understood that and that we will create healthier and better relations together, and that everyone understands that the Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats must live in peace and solve all problems together,” Vučić told Tanjug.
